Fish
All our fish is MSC-certified, wild fresh-frozen at sea.
Fresh freezing at sea locks in the high-protein cholesterol-fighting effects of fish, including omega-3 acids, plus vitamins A, B12, and D. Fresh freezing doesn’t just provide us with a healthier option, it also provides the freshest possible texture and taste. In fact, fresh frozen fish at sea is the closest thing you can get to catching it yourself!
Our cod is caught by Glacialis in the N/W pacific ocean.
Our haddock is caught by Gadus in the Icelandic sea.
We prepare our fish in store daily for guaranteed freshness, each fillet is hand cut and weighed.

Potatoes
Field to Frying! Our potatoes are locally sourced, and each bag of spuds are checked by ourselves before being chipped in-store daily.
Our chips are twice cooked to give you a golden crisp outer and beautifully fluffy middle.

Oil/Frying
Time to turn up the heat!
We fry using premium high oleic sunflower oil, this is the healthiest option available for cooking quality fish & chips. High oleic sunflower oil contains a low amount of saturated fat (around 5-10%) in comparison to beef dripping fat containing 40-50% saturated fat.
Thoroughly filtering our oil twice daily ensures it is at optimum quality for frying and provides you with a fresh finished product.
All of our used oil is taken away to be recycled.

Environmentally conscious, for years we have been proud to use biodegradable & recyclable packaging.
You will find the majority of our food packaged in white boxes, these are made from sugarcane plump and are fully biodegradable so feel free to throw them in the compost bin when you’re done for more sustainable waste disposal.
Everything else including our cardboard newspaper boxes are made from recycled paper/plastic and suitable to pop in your recycling bin.
Please help us do our bit and dispose of food packaging correctly!
